Admissions
FRESHMEN  ADMISSIONS  for  SEPTEMBER   2018

Lincoln Park is both a neighborhood high school with attendance boundaries and a high school with five magnet programs--the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, Double Honors/College Prep Program, Drama Program, Instrumental Music Program (Band and Orchestra) and Vocal Music Program.

The magnet programs admit students from outside the neighborhood attendance area. Approximately three-fourths of the 2100 students enrolled in the school entered through one of the magnet programs. Last year Lincoln Park received over 6,000 applications to the Magnet Programs.

NOTE:  The application process, guidelines and requirements for the magnet programs at Lincoln Park are managed through the Chicago Public School's universal application process. Refer to go.cps.edu for complete information.  Follow the directions carefully.
Information about Lincoln Park's programs and audition requirements are also available on this web site.
